Website Development for CHI 2019
New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, New Mexico
Under William A. Hamilton, Ph.D., associate professor at NMSU, and stream chair for CHI 2019, our task was to live stream the talks at CHI (Computer Human Interaction) 2019. The group was tasked with creating a web page that would host up to 16 concurrent rooms to be live streamed on the CHI website that utilized a Word Press frame work. Responsible for both front end and back end web development. Assisted in the maintenance, repairs, and execution of website at the conference.

Helped with the development of a Website extension to scrape content creators metadata on YouTube to understand their demonetization and recommendation policies and their effects on online discourse. Assisted in asset creation and code for the extension. Built custom PC's for project use.

Projects

C-like Language Compiler

Created a compiler utilizing LEX, YACC, and C that utilized extended BNF. Compiled a basic language that handled arrays, conditionals, and function calls. Additionally function calls could handle data structure as arguments.

Database Management & Analysis Web Tool

Worked as a team to create a database schema with a web interface for querying. Built using a LAMP stack. Developed both front and back end database. Web Interface to handle database queries.

Lightning Game

Charged with creating a functional lightweight game under a week development time. Created a tower defense game utilizing JavaFX. Code has been proted to JavaScript such that it can run in browser. Seriously check it out.
